Privacy in plain words
TrueCost receives the details you choose to submit through its forms. The current code stores submissions server-side in Supabase when the required server credentials are configured, or in a local JSONL fallback during local development. Public pages do not expose those stored submissions.
What we collect
- Lead and get-help forms: name, Ghana phone number, area, budget range, source page, and submission time.
- Contact form: name, email or phone, topic, message, and submission time.
- Property submission: name, phone, role, area, property type, optional price and description, source page, and submission time.
- Newsletter: the email address and source page you submit.
- Operational protection: the server may use a request IP for rate limiting and Cloudflare Turnstile verification when configured. The current repository does not include an analytics implementation.
How the data is used
The owner can review lead and partner submissions in the private tracker, and can receive optional Resend notifications for form submissions when those services are configured. The current repository does not implement a consent field or an automatic third-party-agent sharing workflow, so this policy does not promise that a renter will be matched or that details will be shared with a provider.
Do not send passwords, identity documents, payment credentials, or other sensitive information through these forms.
Access and removal
You may ask the owner to review or remove a submission by contacting TrueCost and identifying the contact detail used. Requests are handled manually; there is no automated deletion endpoint in the current repository.
Newsletter subscriptions are stored separately. To change or remove one, contact TrueCost with the subscribed email address. The current repository does not implement a one-click unsubscribe endpoint.
